Friends, friends, friends! The 4th time is the charm! Building on your kindness and attendance last year, we are proud to announce the next installment of Montreal Oysterfest.

Gathering the best of friends (even more this year!), the best of Oysters (even more this year!), and the most beauty of tunes (mm...about the same amount), we invite you once again to be part of what we hope becomes a staple in your yearly end of summer calendar.

Last year we experienced a notch of a growth spurt and we are happy to announce...oh, baby...this year we're ready for you...

Tons of food, tons of drinks, Caesar competition, Shane Murphy and others, DJ Myles rockin it out again (no rinky awards show to stand in me having my way with him!) shucking competition with our friends from at least Toronto, PEI, Ottawa, Niagra, and hopefully, Boston, New York, and gothams abroad!

On a serious note...

And of prime importance - we've been a little remiss in mentioning that our proceeds go towards our Non profit "The Open Pier Foundation" whose goal is to promote ocean sustainability through education and our open platform ocean resource database that we will be building this year to inform chefs and consumers where all our favorite ocean life fits into its ecosystem. In addition, the charitable donations from the restaurants go primarily to Environmental Defense who has been protecting Canada's waterways and nature space. We are very happy to say that being only in our 3rd year last year about $7000 from that event will be added to this years amount! Ill get an exact number on just how many fish we saved later today...
